At Kurrista, customer satisfaction is important to us. As we deal with freshly prepared food products, our Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy is designed to ensure fairness while maintaining food safety and hygiene standards.
1. Order Cancellation
Cancellation by Customer
- Orders may be cancelled only before food preparation begins.
- Once food preparation has started, cancellation requests may not be accepted.
- Refund eligibility will be determined based on the stage of order processing.
Cancellation by Kurrista
Kurrista reserves the right to cancel any order due to:
- Ingredient unavailability
- Operational issues
- Technical errors
- Service area restrictions
- Suspected fraudulent activity
- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control
In such cases, customers will receive a full refund for any amount paid.
2. Returns
Due to the perishable nature of food products and food safety regulations:
- Food items cannot be returned once delivered or collected.
- Kurrista does not accept returns of prepared food products.
- Customers are requested to carefully review their orders before confirming purchase.
3. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be considered under the following circumstances:
Incorrect Order Delivered
If you receive items different from what was ordered, please contact us within 30 minutes of delivery.
Missing Items
If any item is missing from your order, notify us within 30 minutes of receiving the order.
Damaged Packaging
If your order arrives with significant damage affecting food quality or safety, please contact us immediately and provide photographs where possible.
Food Quality Concerns
If you experience a genuine quality issue, please notify us within 30 minutes of delivery and provide relevant details or photographs to help us investigate.
Payment Deducted but Order Not Confirmed
If payment is successfully processed but the order is not confirmed due to a technical issue, the amount will be refunded after verification.
4. Situations Where Refunds Will Not Be Provided
Refund requests may be declined in the following situations:
- Customer changes their mind after order preparation begins.
- Customer is unavailable to receive delivery.
- Incorrect delivery address or contact information provided by the customer.
- Delays caused by traffic, weather, festivals, public events, or other unforeseen circumstances.
- Personal taste preferences.
- Minor variations in food appearance, garnishing, or packaging.
- Complaints made after a substantial portion of the food has been consumed.
5. Refund Process
- Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method used during checkout.
- Refund processing times may vary depending on the bank, card issuer, or payment provider.
- Most refunds are completed within 5–10 business days.
For Cash on Delivery orders, refunds may be issued through bank transfer, UPI, or another mutually agreed method.
6. Delivery Issues
If our delivery partner is unable to reach you after reasonable attempts or if delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect information provided by the customer:
- The order may be considered fulfilled.
- No refund or replacement may be provided.
